Today i took Kinlee to her 3rd doctors appointment. It went really good. She has an eye infection so he gave me eye drops but thats about it. The first time we took her in her weight dropped to 7'1o. The doctor said that babies should be back to their birth weight by 2 weeks. (Which is 8 lbs)A couple days later she was at 7'13. When i took her today she was 8'10! haha. and not even 2 weeks yet. So she is doing real good on eating. Im so lucky she is such a good baby. She hardly ever cries. and sleeps really good in the night. She is so much fun :)

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our one year anniversary! We went out to dinner last night. We left Kinlee with my mom. It was hard to leave her. But it was nice to go out to dinner :)

On Sunday afternoon i started having some hard contractions. They got closer and closer that night until they were about 4 minutes apart and i was ready to go! We got to the hospital somewhere around 8:30. When they checked me i was dilated to a 5 and 100% effaced. We were so excited! They put me in a room and i got my iv and things were going good. A little later i got my epidural and it seemed to be helping the pain but i could still feel pain. My contractions were kinda slow so the nurse thought i would be there a while and that i wouldnt be more dilated. He was going to start me on pit. At this time i could barely breath because of all the pain i was feeling. My doctor was not on call that night so i met the doctor who would be delivering her. He checked me and i was already dilated to a 9. Everyone was shocked. I told the nurse i couldn't take the pain anymore. I was feeling every contraction so hard and it felt like the baby was gonna come out any second. It was by far the worst pain i have ever been in. The nurse checked me and her head was already close to coming out. He called the lady that gave me the epidural to see if there was anything she could do, since i could feel everything. but by that time, i couldn't take the contractions and the pressure so i had to start pushing. It was the only way to handle it. I could feel pretty much everything in the delivery. I pushed for about a half hour before she was born at 12:52. He had to numb me because i could even feel the stitches. I'm not sure what happened with the epidural but it sure didn't work for me. The doctor said that was one of the fastest deliveries he has ever seen for a first baby, so that was good! Im sure it wouldn't have gone so fast if i couldn't feel all that pain and just wanting to hurry and push her out. It was the most amazing feeling in the world when they put Kinlee on me when she was born. We loved her so much instantly. She is such a good baby! It has been so much fun having her home. We are so blessed!

Story

On Thursday night i started having contractions..
They started out an hour apart and got closer and closer. At like 2:00 am they were about 7 minutes apart. They hurt pretty bad but i knew that they should be hurting worse. We decided to go to the hospital because they say to come when they are five minutes apart & we have like 20 minutes to drive. They kept me at the hospital for an hour keeping track of the contractions and they stayed at a steady 6 minutes apart but i stayed at a 3 and didn't dilate more. The lady said that i was probably just having contractions from him stripping my membranes and they were gonna have me go home. I was so sad. She gave me 2 really strong sleeping pills (called Ambien) because she knew i wouldn't be able to sleep through the contractions. She told me hopefully i would sleep through these ones and once they were like 3 minutes apart and really hard i would wake up and come back. So i took the pills and left. Within like 10 minutes i was out of it. I had a really bad reaction to those pills. My mom and richard would ask me if i was still having them and i was like i dont know, i think those pills were weird. I couldnt concentrate on anything. I barely remembered we were just at the hospital. I would look out the window and all the lines, lights and signs were like dancing around. I couldn't even see where we were at. And i felt like the little car was all high off the ground and jerking around. I told my mom and Richard that i felt like i was on the Indiana Jones ride. haha. I was hallucinating while we were driving until i got home. When i got out of the car i couldn't even walk straight and i was saying crazy stuff. Richard had to help me all the way to our apartment and i guess i was just giggling the whole time. He told me he felt like they were bringing me home from a mental institution haha. They helped me into bed and i fell asleep. The next thing i knew it was 10 in the morning. I slept through the contractions and didn't get up once to go to the bathroom. I usually get up like 6 times. It was crazy....
Now it is Saturday and im still pregnant. I am worried that the baby is going to be really big. They gain like a half of a pound a week. and my doctor thought she was already at least 8 pounds. I hope i go into labor on my own. Tuesday seems soooo far away. But we are glad to know i will have her within a week :)

I am 40 weeks. and soo ready to have her!
I went to the doctor today.
dilated to a 3 and i am 90% effaced..
i dont know whats stopping her!
They are going to induce me on Tuesday at 3:00
.. if i haven't had her yet.
He stripped my membranes again so lets cross our fingers!

39 weeks & new years

Hopefully this will be my last post until i have our baby girl!

and i got my membranes stripped!
